CHROMETECH® is the only color that has a refractive effect in any lighting condition. For example, in the case of artificial lights such as car headlights, Chrometech® reflects the light source, making itself much more visible than a normal color.
This refractive effect allows the rider to be clearly visible on the road even at long distances, especially in the nighttime environment, giving helmets unparalleled depth and recognizability.
On the cap are depicted the symbols ofSicilian Identity. First and foremost, the Trinacria in Chrometech Gold, present on the right side in its classical form (with the head of Medusa in the centre and the three legs symbolising the alternation of past, present and future) and on the left side in its stylised form, with the three whirlpools from which legend has it that the island with its characteristic triangular shape emerged.
In the background are the motifs of the characteristic majolica tiles, and on the left side are the Moor's Head, the Temple of Agrigento and the Greek Theatre of Syracuse.
On the back is Colapesce, the legendary fisherman holding up one of the three columns on which legend has it that the island rests. At the temples, two golden filaments, one on each side, bear the words'Animus Tuus Dominus', the motto dating back to the Sicilian Vespers, extolling independence of thought and the unique Sicilian temperament.
